Neighbors,
With the new Planning Board agenda uploaded yesterday, we’ve received the news that the Chelmsford Mall discussion topic is no longer on the agenda for the August 13th meeting.
The next time this topic will be discussed is now planned to be at the Wednesday, September 10th meeting of the Chelmsford Planning Board.
The reason for the delay is that the engineering firm conducting the peer review of the traffic study, and the Chelmsford DPW Engineering review may not have been ready in time. This is good because it will mean these products are not rushed, and hopefully we will have adequate time to review them prior to the September 10th meeting.
Thank you to everyone who has been spreading the word about this project, and especially those who have had yard signs made. There’s now a nice collection of “Stop the Chelmsford Mall” signs on Rt-110, Dalton Rd, and nearby residential roads. We’re making it known that abutting properties and concerned Chelmsford residents are not going away.
Expect more updates on this site once the additional traffic study documents have been completed and shared by the Planning Board.
For now, enjoy the rest of your summer and mark your calendars to be prepared to discuss the traffic impact of this project at the September 10th Planning Board Meeting. The meeting will be held at 6:30 PM at the Town Offices, 50 Billerica Rd, Room 204. See you there.
